Highly recommend! It’s really nice and suit for vegan and halal I and my friend ordered two times of the fish dishes. It was so nice. Really good to try. Also the deserts we like it so much.
Not much on the menu but I love that they are friendly, not just the staff but also because they cater to people with specific diets including Halal and vegetarian food. Sekai Cafe literally means 'World Cafe' and that's exactly the concept of the shop, a place where everyone can gather and spend time together without worrying about their dietary needs. The place has a free wifi and even encourages people to chill or work on their laptops. They also allocate some space for prayer here. The shop is located at a strategic place just a corner off the Nakamise Shopping Street.
It might be a bit pricey compare to typical japanese lunches. But I was looking for this kind of healthy food in Tokyo. It was tasty and also pretty. Very nice service aswell, I recommend this place to enjoy a gluten free meal and relax. There is options for vegetarians and gluten free. The place is well arranged with plants and essential oils.
Tasty food combined with very kind and friendly staff was perfect. Steak rice is very good with tender beef. Should try vegetable patty also. The restaurant locate near kaminarimon gate, easy to access. They also provide prayer space.
Cute little restaurant that carers to your dietary restrictions. Amazing!
Very traveler-friendly, with extremely nice staff! Food was delicious, and there were vegan options for our herbivore friends. You can also just sit for a coffee or and iced green tea if you're not too hungry!
Chose this as a last night treat in Tokyo. They didn’t have the burger anymore. But what I choose surpassed it
Really enjoyed the cafe, vegan options are available and really tasty. Loads of fresh seasonal food, there was also a fish option. Great little spot, would recommend it and would go back! Toliet is upstairs only downside if you are disabled/not good at stairs!
Well done vegetables, plenty of vegan options. The dishes are simple, but executed perfectly. Great option for vegan or vegetarians.
I love the place. They serve vegetarian food and halal food here. This cafe has halal certificate so for Muslim, you don't have to worry about halal food around Asakusa. They also have space to perfom Solah for Muslim.
The atmosphere and staff are lovely. The menu was not what is pictured in the photos on here. It was a little hard to follow but you pick either fish or a bean patty then what sauce it is to be cooked in + bread or rice. Was somewhat limited in terms of what you can get.
Excellent food, nice atmosphere and friendly service. Situated on a sidestreet on the way to senso-ji, it is in a very convenient location. Food was extremely good - fresh vegetables and chicken cooked very well. English is spoken well here. Service is fast and friendly.Owing to its location the price is high, 1,200 yen for a meal. Not something I'd had everyday but very much worth it for the occasional trip.
Delicious halal food very near to the Sensoji temple.
Great meal. Great service. Very relaxing environment. Delicious food with vegan and non-vegan options.
First meal in Tokyo. Nice food, great ambience, friendly staff!
The food was so tasty.. the staff are so welcome
We miss the food there. It is the BEST food we ate in TOKYO. The unique flavours of the broth, the tenderness of the 'melt-in-your-mouth' beef.... everything is perfect! What a beautiful quiet restaurant. Thumbs UP to the Chef and the servers. Awesome service. Will visit again very soon. Just take note of the opening and closing time.
Halal food in Asakusa.. food is good however choices are limited.. good ambiance to chill & relax..
Good food. Good service. Halal..prayer room. Right near all the shops.
Lovely cafe with the loveliest staff! The food was delicious, all in a great atmosphere
Amazing Halal menu. Sirloin Steak Don was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend it.
Nice food.. Can have Halal food in this restaurant.. They also have prayer room for muslim
Very nice place! The food is made with extreme care and love, the service was great, and the atmosphere cosy!
Quiet place. Ambience is nice. Food is awesome. Friendly staff too!!
Love the atmosphere, very relaxing but probably packed during lunchtime. This is more to like a quickbite or teatime menu. The size portion is just nice, but not enough to fill up a hungry tummy unless you order more than one plate. Had burger & rice bowl, the rive bowl taste a little bland.
Deceptively filling!!! I had the bean patty set with dessert - the fresh bread lightly coated with olive oil was soft and scrumptious. For some reason this place pops up when searching for halal burgers so I ended up here by mistake but I was not disappointed.Very good, fresh organic food and delicious coffee and soy cappuccinos. The vegan gateau chocolate was 😘😘 The plating is very esthetically pleasing and the waitstaff so nice and accommodating.
A nice, halal restaurant with a small prayer space at the front of the restaurant. The foods were presented beautifully and of course it was tasty. Really recommended to come here.
Very good English-speaking cafe. Food is very tasty and healthy.
Beautiful and fresh food. Lovely space and flowers
This is one of my new favorites I think. It seems like lot of foreigners come here, (because Asakusa I guess). It was a little expensive, but for the food and service it was totally worth it! Around 12:30 it started getting crowded, but earlier it was almost empty and the perfect place to get work done. The staffs English was amazing and they were incredibly kind too! The next time I am in the area, I will come back for sure! カフェã®é›°å›²æ°—ã¨ã¦ã‚‚良ãã¦ã€ã‚«ãƒ•ã‚§ãƒ©ãƒ†ã¨ãƒ“ッスクã¯ç¾Žå‘³ã—ã‹ã£ãŸã ã™ã€‚
Have few Halal dishes but very delicious definitely would recommend it to any muslim they have a small corner for any muslim to pray .
Great fusion breakfast in a comfortable and sweet environment. Food portions were small and just right. I nice break from traditional Japanese food.
A very cosy hangout spot for when you arrive in Tokyo - staff speaks perfect English, the menu is in English, there's WiFi, very good coffee and a lovely atmosphere- in overall a good place to sit in and get your bearings before sightseeing.
Great place to eat Halal food. Staff is great, they were very polite. Food was delicious even though the potato widges were too salty for my taste. Menu is limited but good. Ambience is great. There's a small space for prayer too. Highly recommend for muslims visiting Asakusa.
cozy place with many kind of halal foods drinks and reasonable price, free using wifi and charging. prayer spaces is available, staff is friendly! so much love it!
Vegan and muslim friendly.. glad to know they have a prayer space for moslem . Thankyouu
Tried their hot matcha latte & steak with rice (as per the picture - forgot the name of this dish). They wer awesome!
The food here was very well presented and tasty. Coffee, so so. Our main issue was the limited menu. Many options seen online through Google are not on the menu. The chicken teriyaki was excellent, and the apple toast also. Royal milk tea was also good.
The cafe is quite popular and got really crowded during peak hours. Meals are nice too! And halal!
One of the rare places in tokyo serving halal food. It has even a tiny space for praying. Located near the famous asakusa temple, the dishes are actually less than okay for the price they offer. But if having halal food is your main concern, just enjoy them
It is not traditional Japanese food. This caters the people who want are vegetarian or vegan and want to take a break from Japanese food (ramen) while vacationing in Japan. The food was fantastic with excellent prices considering Japanese restaurant prices. I ordered banana milkshake which I think was overpriced. However the food, veggie Patty and french toast were very well priced and excellent flavor. Definitely recommended.
Good coffee and beautiful food. Nice cosmopolitan vibe in a more touristy and traditional area.
Food was good, coffee was okay. I think it was a bit overpriced, but I didn't try any other set meals elsewhere so I can't say for certain.
The beef bowl is really nice with many herbs, flowers and vegetables. I like that each item and ingredient tasted refreshing and different.
Delicious breakfast with the Tatare and apple toast! So friendly staff 😊
There were many tourists here when we visited last January. We enjoyed their burger.
Very very friendly, clean, bright and a nice atmosphere, BUT... I was there for a breakfast and they had only one thing (for ¥500; see picture). It was good but a little small for me and the served cafe (can't be seen in the picture) was not as strong as I'd like it to be. All in all it was ok, I think lunch is probably better.
Such a clean place with a very nice staff! They serve a very good coffee and tea drink, and cute sweets that will be perfect for your instagram! Located near sensoji temple, so you can easily make a quick drop by after roaming around Asakusa.
